2008-2009 Niles North Chess

After both a disappointing state but a very successful nationals NNHS chess is ready for this year. With the loss of 3 great seniors: Oscar, Ben, and Igor. We have to step it up to get first at state and nationals. As of right now we have 10 players (not including new Freshman) and only 8 boards. There maybe a fight for a spot.

We went to Nationals in Atlanta, Georgia, and here is how we did.

Awards at Nationals:

Individual:
