Meet 3 (Niles North @ Maine South)

So far no one has posted anything about our meet against Maine South, so i guess its my job to deliver the news...
On Friday October 27, 2006 Niles North experienced its first loss of the season. The Niles North vs. Maine South meet went to Maine South. The results:

This was a pretty big loss for Niles North, but not one without merit. From every experience we go through as a team we learn more about ourselves, regardless of the score. This meet has been an eye opening experience and a devastating loss, but always we endeavor to look on the bright side. Coash K, who was unable to attend this meet, was so stricken with grief that he resolved to change a couple of rules and now declares mandatory attendance to meets (he blames our loss on the absence of boards 3 and 5). Through every struggle our determination grows and we as a team become more prepared to put everyhtign on the line for the 2007 IHSA state championships.
